Adobe Premiere Elements® 11.0 for Windows® and Mac® OS

Since updating to Mac OS Catalina my original Photoshop no longer works, (32bit installer) not wanting to purchase a monthly subscription I went this way and got Photoshop Elements. It is a dumbed down version of Photoshop.Had trouble installing and registering, the product an called Adobe. The 18.0 version of Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 for Mac is available as a free download on our website. Our antivirus analysis shows that this Mac download is virus free. The actual developer of this software for Mac is Adobe Systems Inc. The software lies within Audio & Video Tools, more precisely Editors & Converters. System Requirements of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 for Mac OS X. Before you download Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 for Mac free, make sure your Apple Mac OS X meets below minimum system requirements on Macintosh. Operating System: Mac OS X 10.12 or later. Machine: Apple Macbook. Memory (RAM): 8 GB of RAM required.

  • Ensure that you do not have any anti-virus software running on your computer when you install Adobe Premiere Elements. Installation can fail or take a long time when some anti-virus software is running on your computer.
  • 2 GHz or faster processor with SSE2 support. Dual-core processor required for HDV or AVCHD editing and Blu-ray or AVCHD export.
  • Microsoft® Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Windows Media Center, Windows Vista® (all applications run native on 32-bit operating systems. They also run native in 32-bit compatibility mode on 64-bit operating systems). Windows 7, or Windows 8 (Adobe® Premiere® Elements Editor runs native on 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. All other applications run native on 32-bit operating systems and in 32-bit compatibility mode on 64-bit operating systems).
  • 2-GB RAM.
  • Color monitor with 16-bit color video card.
  • Microsoft DirectX 9 or 10 compatible sound and display driver.
  • Windows Media Player (required if importing/exporting Windows Media formats).
  • 64-bit Multicore Intel® processor.
  • Mac OS X v10.6 through v10.8.
  • 2-GB RAM.
  • 4 GB of available hard-disk space to install applications. Additional 5 GB to download content.
  • Video adapter with latest updated drivers.
  • 1024x768 display resolution.
  • DVD-ROM drive (compatible DVD burner required to burn DVDs. Compatible Blu-ray burner required to burn Blu-ray discs).
  • DV/i.LINK/FireWire/IEEE 1394 interface to connect a Digital 8 DV.
  • QuickTime 7 software.
  • Internet connection required for Internet-based services.

Import/export of some formats can require activation via an Internet connection.

Adobe Premiere Elements can capture or import video from the following devices. You can find an updated list of tested devices online.

  • DV Camcorders, including mini DV camcorders. Adobe recommends that you connect DV devices using FireWire/1394.
  • AVCHD Camcorders
  • HDV Camcorders
  • DVD Camcorders
  • JVC Everio and Everio G Camcorders
  • Flip and similar memory-based camcorders
  • Mobile Phones: To enable Adobe Premiere Elements to read content on your mobile phones in the .3GP, .3GP2, and .MPEG4 video file formats, you must have QuickTime 6.5 or later installed on your computer. For Nokia phones, install the software provided with your phone.
  • Digital still cameras
  • Webcams (see information below on capturing from webcams)
  • WDM cameras

Compatibility with other versions of Adobe Premiere Elements and Adobe Premiere Pro

  • You can have previous versions of Adobe Premiere Elements installed on your computer. However, do not run them simultaneously.
  • You can open projects from previous versions of Adobe Premiere Elements in Adobe Premiere Elements 11.0. However, after you save the projects in Adobe Premiere Elements 11.0, you cannot edit them in previous versions of Adobe Premiere Elements. Mac version of Adobe Premiere Elements does not support Windows projects and the other way round.
  • You cannot import Adobe Premiere Elements 11.0 projects into Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 or CS 5.5.
